Archery Classes
Redwood Bowmen Archery Club instructors provide introductory archery classes at the archery range in Roberts Regional Recreation Area, high in the Oakland Hills. Certified and experienced club members teach safety, proper gear care, aiming, and shooting technique. The club provides bows, arrows, and gear, and students practice shooting under the careful coaching of the instructors. More information register for classes.
Archery Range The Briones Archers range is located in Briones Regional Park. It is accessible off the Crescent Ridge Trail from the park's Bear Creek Road entrance (see map). Website: BrionesArchery.org The Redwood Bowmen Association range is located at Roberts Regional Recreation Area in Oakland ( see map ), inside the Redwood Bowl entrance off Skyline Boulevard in Oakland. The Bay Area Ridge Trail (Ridge Trail) is a planned 550-mile loop along the ridges that encircle the bay. Four hundred miles are currently complete and open to the public.
