The project is part of the Park District’s ongoing efforts to build up the topography of the park to meet the standards of the District’s Oyster Bay Land Use Plan Amendment adopted in 2013.
LUPA Key Goals
The Park District’s Public Safety division comprises 3 departments – Police, Fire, and Lifeguard. They provide services in law enforcement, fire-fighting and suppression, water safety and education respectively.
A permit is required to use a metal detector in the Regional Parks. Use of metal detectors is limited to beach areas, lawns, and other developed park areas and is NOT allowed at Contra Loma Regional Park or in natural parkland areas, wilderness areas, or regional preserves.

Hills and Inland East Bay Regional Parks Closed Due to Extreme Fire Conditions and Excessive Heat
