Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve
Star Mine (Primitive/ 10 – 35 person capacity)
Star Mine is a primitive group site, available to reserve for scouts and school groups. This site has a minimum capacity of 10 and a maximum capacity of 35 people. The site is a ¼ mile hike-in from parking, and includes picnic tables, pit toilet, shade structure, and 2 tent pads. There is NO WATER available at the site, your group must bring in water for your campout. Dogs are allowed at this site overnight. No alcohol allowed, which includes beer and wine. Fires and BBs not permitted; camp stoves are allowed. 7 parking passes issued with your reservation. Access is from the gate at Fredrickson Lane, near the Contra Loma Regional Park entrance. Check gate hours and enter before closing time. For safety and to limit impact, ALL VEHICLES MUST ENTER AND EXIT TOGETHER. NO SHUTTLING. Buses, RVs, food trucks, or caterers are prohibited.

Briones Regional Park
Briones Regional Park has three primitive group camping areas available for reservation beginning mid-May through October. Sites are closed seasonally, November 1 – May 1. There is no access to flush toilets and showers, chemical toilets available at sites. Dogs are permitted. Alcohol is not allowed at the sites, which includes beer and wine.

Wee-Ta-Chi (Primitive/ 17-50 person capacity)
Wee-Ta-Chi is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 17 and maximum capacity of 50 people. The site has a shelter, fire circle, picnic tables, and BBQ. It is a 1.5 mile hike-in to site from parking. 10 parking passes will be issued for the site, 4 cars can park at the site and 6 park at the Bear Creek park entrance. Cars may drive in at the beginning of the reservation, and drive out at the end; no shuttling. There is NO WATER at the site, you must bring in all water for you campout.
Maud Whalen Camp (Primitive/ 25-75 person capacity)
Maud Whalen is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 25 and maximum capacity of 75 people. The site has a shelter, fire circle, two 8’ X 10’ ADA-accessible platform, picnic tables, BBQs, and a drinking fountain with spigot. It is a 1 mile hike-in to site from parking. 15 parking passes will be issued for the site, 4 cars can park at the site and 11 park at the Bear Creek park entrance. Cars may drive in at the beginning of the reservation, and drive out at the end; no shuttling.
Homestead Valley (Primitive/ 100-300 person capacity)
Homestead Valley is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 100 and maximum capacity of 300 people. The site has picnic tables, and a fire circle. It is a 1 mile hike-in to site from parking. 35 parking passes issued for the site, 25 cars may park at the site, and 10 in the parking lot. Cars may drive in at the beginning of the reservation, and drive out at the end; no shuttling. There is NO WATER at the site, you must bring in all water for your campout.
Coyote Hills Regional Park
Dairy Glen (Primitive/ 17-50 people maximum)
Diary Glen is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 17 and maximum capacity of 50 people. The site has a shelter, fire circle, picnic tables, and BBQs, and a drinking fountain. It is a 1/4 mile hike-in to site from parking. 10 parking passes will be issued for the site, parking is at the Quarry Staging Area.

Garin Regional Park
Arroyo Flats (Primitive/ 25-75 people maximum)
Arroyo Flats is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 25 and maximum capacity of 75 people. The site has picnic tables, BBQ, a fire circle and a drinking fountain. Beer and wine is permitted with additional $25 Beer and Wine Permit. Hard Alcohol is not permitted. It is a 1/4 mile hike-in to site from parking. 15 parking passes issued for the site, 2 cars may park at the site, and 13 in the parking lot. Cars may drive in at the beginning of the reservation, and drive out at the end; no shuttling.

Las Trampas Wilderness Regional Preserve
Corral (Primitive/ 17-50 people maximum)
Corral is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 17 and maximum capacity of 50 people. The site has picnic tables, BBQs, a food storage box, and a drinking fountain with water spigot . Water at the site is unreliable and may run out at any time, bring water with you for your campout. Campfires are not permitted at this site, camp stoves are okay. Beer and wine is permitted with additional $25 Beer and Wine Permit. Hard Alcohol is not permitted. 10 parking passes issued for the site, 5 cars may park at the site (not within the camp gate), and 5 in the parking lot. Cars may drive in at the beginning of the reservation, and drive out at the end; no shuttling.

Point Pinole Regional Shoreline
Point Pinole Group Campsite (Primitive/ 11-35 people maximum)
Point Pinole Group Campsite is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 11 and maximum capacity of 75 people. The site has a shade structure, picnic tables, BBQs, fire circle, storage container, rinsing shower, and a drinking fountain with water spigot . Beer and wine is permitted with additional $25 Beer and Wine Permit. Hard Alcohol is not permitted. It is a 1.5 mile hike-in to site from parking. 7 parking passes issued for the site, 4 cars may park at the site), and 3 in the parking lot. Cars may drive in at the beginning of the reservation, and drive out at the end, no shuttling. You must contact the park supervisor 2 or more weeks in advance of your reservation to arrange a park escort to the site, vehicles may not drive out of the site except for emergencies.

Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park
Dr. Aurelia Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park has three primitive group camping areas available for reservation beginning mid-May through October. Sites are closed seasonally, from the first Monday of October – April 30. There is no access to showers. Dogs are permitted.

Trail’s End (Primitive/ 10-25 person capacity)
Trail’s End is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 10 and maximum capacity of 25 people. The site has a shelter, fire circle, picnic tables, BBQ, and drinking fountain with water spigot. Beer and wine is permitted with additional $25 Beer and Wine Permit. Hard Alcohol is not permitted. It is a .86 mile hike-in to site from parking. There is no vehicle access to the site, and the hike-in is slightly inclined. 5 parking passes will be issued for the Wayside parking lot.
Fern Dell (Primitive/ 17-50 person capacity)
Fern Dell is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 17 and maximum capacity of 50 people. The site has a shelter, fire circle, picnic tables, BBQ, and a drinking fountain with spigot. Beer and wine is permitted with additional $25 Beer and Wine Permit. Hard Alcohol is not permitted. It is a 1/4 mile hike-in to site from parking, along a flat, paved path. There is no vehicle access to the site. 10 parking passes will be issued for the Wayside parking lot.
Girl’s Camp (Primitive/ 17-50 person capacity)
Girl’s Camp is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 17 and maximum capacity of 50 people. The site has a shelter, picnic tables, BBQs, a fire circle, and a drinking fountain. Beer and wine is permitted with additional $25 Beer and Wine Permit. Hard Alcohol is not permitted. It is a ½ mile hike-in to site from parking, with a steep incline to the site. No vehicle access to the site. 10 parking passes issued for the site, parking is at the Skyline Gate Staging Area.
Tilden Regional Park
Charles Lee Tilden Regional Park has three primitive group camping areas and one Equestrian group campsite available for reservation beginning May through October. Sites are closed seasonally, from the first Monday of October – April 30. There is no access to showers.

New Woodland (Primitive/ 17-50 person capacity)
New Woodland is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 17 and maximum capacity of 50 people. The site has a storage building, fire circle with amphitheater seating, picnic tables, BBQs, and drinking fountain with water spigot. There I sno access to showers and chemical toilets are available at site, one of which is ADA accessible. Alcohol is not permitted, which includes beer and wine. Dogs are not permitted at site. It is a 1/4 mile hike-in to site from parking. 10 parking passes issued for the site, 3 cars may park at the site, and 7 may park outside the group camp gate. Cars may drive in at the beginning of the reservation, and drive out at the end; no shuttling.
Gillespie (Primitive/ 25-75 person capacity)
Gillespie is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 25 and maximum capacity of 75 people. The site has a shelter, fire circle, wash basin, picnic tables, BBQ, and a drinking fountain with spigot. There is no access to showers or flush toilets, chemical toilets are available at site, one of which is ADA accessible. Dogs are permitted overnight at the site. Beer and wine is permitted with additional $25 Beer and Wine Permit. Hard Alcohol is not permitted. 15 parking passes issued for the site, and there is a paved path to site from parking
Wildcat View (Primitive/ 25-75 person capacity)
Wildcat View is a primitive group campsite with a minimum capacity of 25 and maximum capacity of 75 people. The site has a shelter with fire circle, picnic tables, BBQs, a storage container, and a drinking fountain with spigot. There is no access to flush toilets or showers, chemical toilets are at the site. Alcohol is not permitted at site, which includes beer and wine. Dogs are not permitted at the site. 15 parking passes issued for the site, 3 cars may park at the site, and 12 outside the group camp gate. Cars may drive in at the beginning of the reservation, and drive out at the end; no shuttling.
