Investing and Planning in Your Parks
The Acquisition, Stewardship, and Development Division oversees land acquisition with the goal of protecting habitat and closing regional trail gaps; developing trails and facilities to make parklands safe and welcoming; and managing natural and cultural resources. Other responsibilities include land use and trail planning efforts, maintaining the Geographic Information System (GIS), and mitigating impacts of climate change.
