On September 12th, East Bay Regional Park District held a grand opening dedication in pinole for the new Pinole Shores Bay Trail and Bridge.
This fire season, the East Bay Regional Park District has been busy with three Fire Hazard Reduction Crews and three goat herds working to thin and remove vegetation at 40 targeted sites in the East Bay Hills.
On June 5 California voters approved Proposition 68, the California Drought, Water, Parks, Climate, Coastal Protection, and Outdoor Access For All Act of 2018, with 56% of the vote (70% in Alameda County and 60% in Contra Costa County).
