After a nationwide search, the East Bay Regional Park District announces the appointment of José G. González as its new Equity Officer to lead diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at the public agency.
The Briones Pilot Project is testing a variety of trail management strategies to safely share existing trails and protect park habitat, wildlife, and watersheds. The Pilot Project takes a balanced approach by dedicating four trail segments for bike-only, downhill-only use and restoring illegal bootleg trails back to nature.
