Celebrating the 4th of July with the Park District
• Independence Day Celebration, Ardenwood: Celebrate the 4th of July with music, games, contests, and races for everyone all day long. Bring a picnic and spend the day the old-fashioned way.
• Alameda 4th of July Parade: 'Swim' along the Alameda hometown parade route with our Mobile Visitor Center as we promote the love of nature and the Regional Parks, or just enjoy the show from the sidewalk.
• July of 4th Open House, Crab Cove: Celebrate the beauty and diversity of the SF Bay with family-friendly activities and crafts on-going all afternoon. Listen to stories, spend time with our turtles and reptile residents, and join in a beach clean-up.
• Fourth of July at Del Valle: Stop by the visitor center during open hours throughout the weekend and celebrate the holiday with us. Learn about the bald eagles that make Del Valle their home, make s’more’s using solar energy, be a “litter getter” and receive a prize.
• Danville Parade: Join Park District Board Member Beverley Lane and members of the Public Safety Volunteer Safety Patrol members as they ride in the annual Danville Fourth of July Parade.
