Increase the numbers and species of butterflies and birds in Bay Area landscapes. Bring your backyard to life by creating wildlife-friendly habitats! Enjoy garden tours, family hands-on activities, educational speakers, photo presentations, and music.
Kids will enjoy viewing butterflies and caterpillars close-up, making crafts, face-painting, and meeting animals from Hayward’s SulphurCreek Nature Center. Enjoy whimsical and entertaining songs about animals and nature performed by Betsy Stern.
The event is free to the public, but the usual $5 parking fee will be charged. Food available for sale.
