Celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month
Join us in paying tribute to the generations of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI) who have enriched America's history and are instrumental in its future success.
The month of May is identified as AANHPI Heritage Month to commemorate the beginning of Japanese immigration to the United States on May 7, 1843, and to mark the anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad on May 10, 1869, made possible by Chinese immigrant railroad workers.
We celebrate these and many other contributions, as well as the diverse thriving communities of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders in our community.
