NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
EAST BAY REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT
RELATIVE TO: BOARD MEMBER COMPENSATION
Pursuant to California Public Resources Code §5536, the Board of Directors of the East Bay Regional Park District will hold a Public Hearing to receive public comment and consider adoption of an ordinance increasing Board member compensation from $127.32 per day to up to $133.69 per day for attendance at eligible meetings of the Board, not to exceed 10 days per calendar month. The Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the Board Room at 2950 Peralta Oaks Court, Oakland, CA 94605, and via telephone and video conferencing via the Park District’s virtual meeting platform.
The public is invited to attend either in person or via telephone or videoconference and to provide oral and/or written comments. Written comments must be received at or prior to the meeting time and date. A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for review in the Clerk of the Board’s Office located at 2950 Peralta Oaks Court, Oakland, CA 94605 or by accessing the Park District’s website at www.ebparks.org.
