- Operating and maintaining district vehicles and equipment
- Customer service tasks such as providing information to visitors, answering phones, and maintaining good relations with neighbors and homeowners' associations
- Patrol the parks, trails and waterways
- Protect natural resources and assist with conservation projects,
- Administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, completing revenue reports, and keeping logs

Requirements
- At least three years of experience at East Bay Regional Park District as a Park Ranger I OR
- Three years of recent experience in landscape/park facility maintenance, construction, or a related field and which demonstrates the ability to provide quality customer service
- Graduated high school, or equivalent
- A valid driver's license
(note: One year of relevant, college-level course work, or successful completion of one year of related classes at a trade or vocation school may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required experience)
