Description

FIVE CANYONS OPEN SPACE: Visit this Lesser-known canyon and ridge in the Hayward Hills for beauty and exercise. We pass by a spring pond and spend some time on Palomares Ridge before returning to the 5 Canyons community. About 4 miles with about 500 feet of elevation gain.

For those who would appreciate it, we will lunch afterwards at nearby Don Castro Park, so bring food for that.

Wear sturdy footwear, bring water and dress for the weather.

Ages 8 years and up.

No registration; drop-in.
