Description
DEL VALLE – That’s no glow stick, that’s a scorpion! Night is the best time to see scorpions because they glow under ultraviolet light. Let’s use some ultraviolet lights on a night hike in the park to search for scorpions. We will hike about 1.5 miles round trip to find these fascinating eight-legged creatures.
Registration required.
8-9:30pm, Friday, May 9th
Meeting at the Visitor Center
Rain will cancel the program. The trail will have a few hills so bring sturdy shoes and water. Hiking poles are recommended for those who have difficulty going downhill.
Adult participation required.
$5 Parking Fee
