This fire season, the East Bay Regional Park District has been busy with three Fire Hazard Reduction Crews and three goat herds working to thin and remove vegetation at 40 targeted sites in the East Bay Hills.
On September 12th, East Bay Regional Park District held a grand opening dedication in pinole for the new Pinole Shores Bay Trail and Bridge.
About Measure FF: Measure FF is a $1/month ($12/year) parcel tax extension measure.
On November 6 voters in western Alameda and Contra Costa counties overwhelmingly passed Measure FF with 85.6% of the vote.
The Park District thanks voters for approval of Measure FF and appreciates the thousands of residents in the community that participated in the election.
The Park District is proud to have one of the most dog-friendly policies in the entire country, allowing dogs at most parks and even off-leash at many.
The East Bay Regional Park District Board of Directors unanimously approved the naming of Judge John Sutter Regional Shoreline in Oakland after prominent East Bay civic and environmental leader, The Honorable Judge John Sutter.
