The Bay Area Ridge Trail (Ridge Trail) is a planned 550-mile loop along the ridges that encircle the bay. Four hundred miles are currently complete and open to the public.
With additional funding approved July 2, 2013, by the East Bay Regional Park District Board, 82,600 cubic yards of sand will be pumped onto Crown Memorial State Beach and Alameda Beach between September and November 2013.

Redwood Canyon Public Golf Course (formerly Willow Park) is operated by Touchstone Golf Inc. The course is celebrated as one of the Bay Area’s most enjoyable golf destinations and includes a pro shop as well as food and beverage services. Redwood Canyon Public Golf Course is located in Castro Valley at 17007 Redwood Road.
Camp Arroyo is a beautiful residential camp serving children year-round as a place to explore, learn and grow in an ideal outdoor setting. Nestled in the hills surrounding the 138-acre Del Valle Regional Wilderness in Livermore, California, the camp was formally opened in 2001 and serves thousands of children each year.
This historic public golf course is located within Tilden Regional Park on Golf Course Drive. Enter the park from Golf Course Road or Shasta Road off Grizzly Peak Boulevard in Berkeley.
Tilden's Herschell-Spillman Merry-Go-Round is a splendid antique menagerie carousel with hand-carved and beautifully painted wooden carousel animals to ride, and calliope-style music to make any child's heart sing. The facility offers a wheelchair-accessible snack stand, drinking water, restroom, and parking.
The Steam Train offers rides along a scenic ridge on a scaled-down steam train. Parking, drinking water, and restroom facilities are wheelchair accessible.
