Measure WW | Facts and Figures
On November 4, 2008 nearly 72% of the voters in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties voted "yes" on Measure WW, the Regional Open Space, Wildlife, Shoreline and Park Bond Extension measure. Measure WW is a $500 million bond measure that will provide funding to the East Bay Regional Park District for acquisition and development projects as well as per capita funding allocations to city parks and recreation departments and special park districts in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
Measure WW is the largest local park bond measure approved to date in the United States.
